Michael Petersen

Michael Petersen has been a powerhouse in real estate for the past 15 years, but his story started in Ames, Iowa. Coming from humble beginnings, he credits much of his success to a relentless work ethic and a "nothing is owed to you" mindset. Michael entered real estate at 22 and quickly realized he had found what few people do: work he genuinely loves and has become exceptional at.

As a Commercial Broker, Michael has experience across multiple asset classes and markets throughout Iowa, Colorado, and Texas, including retail and mixed-use development, flex/industrial, multifamily, redevelopment, and investment properties, as well as national franchise tenant representation. Beyond real estate, Michael has built and invested in multiple companies over the years, giving him a strong foundation in business fundamentals and a deeper perspective when advising clients. In 2025, he expanded his services to include business brokering, allowing commercial clients to be fully represented on both the real estate and business sides of a transaction.
